Creative rescue. Quirky and unusual vehicles, often basic but efficient
Between past and future, emergency vehicles are a constantly evolving world. In this gallery the aim is not to highlight the technological developments that have transformed ambulances and emergency vehicles over the last 40 years, but to observe with curious interest how the creativity available for health matters manages to indulge its whims and come up with solutions that range from the very basic to the extremely sophisticated.
The common denominator is always the same: i.e. efficiency.
From the bicycle with passenger stretcher hooked up to the sidecar through to the Mini Cooper designed down to the finest detail to contain first-aid bags.
The main aim is to get there in time, with whatever available means.
