The Mongolia Charity Rally, a spectacular event; photos of the participants
July 2012 saw a very unusual rally take place, where the participants took part with special vehicles, that is to say ambulances. A rally where all proceeds were donated to charity, in which drivers and ambulances from all over the world took part, against an absolutely magnificent backdrop.
The rally started in London and ended in the capital of Mongolia, Ulan Bator; many UK operators signed up for the event with extremely contagious enthusiasm. This dedicated blog contains information about the route and the stages of the journey which all the volunteers had to face in this amazing adventure.
One of Mongolia’s problems lies in an emergency system in dire need of funding, which has led to several initiatives in recent years aimed at funding ambulances in Genghis Khan‘s great country! Here below, you can check out a long list of local ambulances and those that took part in this legendary rally! Enjoy!
