Every day they are the first to come to the aid of those in need, they do it with Love and #GivingGiving.
The world will inevitably face new crises and humanitarian challenges, but the staff and volunteers of the International Movement, their humanity and courage will always be at the forefront of providing assistance, whatever the circumstances.
As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, we firmly believe that each of us can make this world a better place.

8 May celebrations: restored Russian Red Cross Museum opened in Moscow
The Russian Red Cross ( RKK ) Museum, the oldest humanitarian organisation in Russia, will solemnly open to the public on 15 May in Moscow.
On its 156th birthday, the organisation will unfold the ‘territory’ of the Russian Red Cross – several thematic stations dedicated to the main areas of its activities.
The exhibition will open in the main building of the Russian Red Cross at Cheryomushkinsky proezd, 5 in Moscow and will present visitors with 60 exhibits dedicated to the organisation’s history and the development of the humanitarian sphere in Russia.
The collection includes gifts, medals and orders, sculptures, letters of thanks and historical documents.
“The Russian Red Cross Museum will become a new public space where everyone can spend time in an interesting and useful way. The collection of exhibits reflects not only the history of the oldest humanitarian organisation in Russia, but also the history of all charity in our country, the RKK’s assistance to the state and society during wars, emergencies and cataclysms,” said Pavel Savchuk, President of the Russian Red Cross .
In addition, as part of its 156th anniversary celebration, the Russian Red Cross will open several thematic stations dedicated to the organisation’s main activities: first aid, emergency response, and medical and social programmes.
The guests of honour were Deputy Head of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation for Public PROGETTI Alexander Zhuravsky , First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Olga Batalina , Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Oleg Salagay , First Deputy Head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) Tatyana Yakovleva , Head of the Federal Agencies for Youth Affairs Ksenia Razuvaeva , Chairman of the State Duma Committee for Youth Policy Artem Metelev and others.
