The flooding is at an all-time high.
Mayors, from Ravenna to Forlì, are launching appeals to go upstairs or be ready to leave their homes.
In the area of via Roversano and via dei Mulini after the Savio overflowed, “people are reported to be stuck on rooftops due to the high water level,” the fire brigade wrote on Twitter, adding that rescue operations with the helicopter are underway in the area.
