ISOLA DEL GIGLIO – Costa Concordia towing operation start today at 6AM with the first Tug Boat that start to operate on the field. The ship will be towed from 12AM to Genova, where it will arrive on monday. The Costa Concordia sunk in january 2012, and now Protezione Civile and Costa Crocere realize an incredible parbuckling operation to recover the hull, in partnership with Micoperi and Titan Salvage. The Concordia struck a reef off the Italian island of Giglio in January 2012 and capsized, killing 32 people.
