In total, almost 400 temporary accommodation centers with a total capacity of 42,000 people have been prepared in 43 regions; another 149 temporary accommodation centers with a capacity of more than 54,000 people are in reserve.
In total, about 10 thousand people, including more than 4.5 thousand children, are accommodated in these centers on the territory of four subjects.
The delivery of refugees to the regions continues by rail.
During the day, 21 trains are scheduled to depart – to Kursk, Belgorod, Saratov, Volgograd, Voronezh regions and others.
Russian Emergencies Ministry ready to take in people fleeing Ukraine’s mixed-population Dunbass region
According to the Border Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Rostov Region, more than 21,000 citizens of Donbass crossed the border over the past day.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, together with the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, organized the issuance of SIM cards to residents of the LPR and DPR arriving in the Rostov Region, with the possibility of making calls without roaming.
The work of two camps of life support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia at checkpoints continues.
“In addition, three more such camps with a capacity of 400 people were delivered to the Rostov Region by columns of the Noginsk and Tula rescue centers,” Acting Head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexander Chupriyan said.
In addition, volunteers organized the delivery of more than 50 tons of food and essentials to the temporary accommodation centers.
To ensure the livelihoods of arriving citizens, the Unified State System of Prevention and Elimination of Emergency Situations involved 1,435 people and 533 pieces of equipment.
