Horse rescued by helicopter after dangerous fall in Southern California
Great jobs by the Los Angeles Firefighters. In Friday, a woman and her horse needed a rescue after an accident in the Angeles National Forest. They slipped down a cliff, and “Dakota” – the name of the horse – could not be able to come back at home. It took a helicopter from the County of Los Angeles Fire Department to hoist the 16-year-old horse out of the remote canyon after it fell about 100 feet down the Santa Clara Truck Trail above the city of Sylmar.
