Novavax vaccine arrives in Europe: 'deliveries from 21 February'
Novavax: US company’s vaccine is based on more traditional technology and could convince many people dubious about mRNA drugs to immunise themselves
Novavax deliveries from 21 February
According to the European Commission’s forecast, ‘the first deliveries of Novavax’s Covid-19 vaccine in Europe should take place in the week of 21 February’.
This was announced by Stefan de Keersmaecker, spokesperson for the EU Health Executive, during a press briefing in Brussels.
There is great expectation in the Old Continent for the arrival of Novavax, the US company’s vaccine based on more traditional technology, which could therefore convince many people who have said ‘no’ to Pfizer’s and Moderna’s messenger RNA vaccines to get vaccinated.
