Rescue workers in Kiev continue to dismantle structures and search for possible victims in a dilapidated high-rise building in Pozniaky
There, at 7a Koshytsia Street in the Darnytskyi district, the wreckage of a Russian missile shot down over the capital by air defence forces fell on a residential building.
After the wreckage hit, the front balconies from the first to the eighth floor of the 15-storey building were destroyed by fire.
Building bombing in Kiev: the fire has been extinguished
According to preliminary data, eight people were injured, 20 were rescued and 150 people were evacuated.
According to the Kiev city state administration, there are three injured, one of them in critical condition.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russian troops do not distinguish in which areas they operate.
