Ukraine, Kiev takes stock of humanitarian aid: 46 ambulances, 28 portable ventilators and 57,000 wound care kits arrived in one week
Ukraine, since the first day of the war, the Ministry of Health has been attracting humanitarian aid from all over the world and weekly reports publicly on the volume and content of humanitarian goods that have arrived at its warehouses
Ukraine, during this week, the Ministry of Health received from donors and charities
- 46 ambulances;
- 3000 tourniquets;
- 300 cardiotocographs for pregnant women;
- 28 portable ventilators;
- 80 external fixation devices;
- 70.5 tonnes of drugs in the range;
- 2.5 tonnes of anaesthetics;
- 57,000 wound care kits.
The main providers of assistance were the British government, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the international non-profit organisation Direct Relief, the OSCE, the Romanian Red Cross Abbvie, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, Evitas Polsat, and the Kyiv School of Economics Charitable Foundation.
“In total,” says the Ministry, “during martial law, the Ministry of Health received more than 6,000 tonnes of humanitarian medical aid totalling more than 7 billion hryvnias from more than 35 countries.
We thank all organisations working hard to achieve our common victory’.
