US sends 150 tonnes of medicines, equipment and an ambulance to Ukraine

Ukraine: 150 tonnes of medicines, equipment and an ambulance have been sent by the US. The humanitarian cargo had already landed in Poland the day before

This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.

War in Ukraine, the humanitarian cargo from the US includes medicines, in particular:

  • antibiotics;
  • hemostatic and anti-inflammatory drugs;
  • surgical suture materials;
  • tourniquets to stop bleeding and necessary medical equipment.

The day before, the humanitarian cargo from the USA landed in Poland and has already left for Ukraine

It will be distributed among Ukrainian hospitals located near the war zone and most in need of support.

The humanitarian aid was collected by hospitals and charities from various states with the support of the Ukrainian Medical Association of North America and the Ukrainian Embassy in the USA.
