CPR is really simple and you could understand it with a simple video. But it is not so simple to perform a rescue without training. That is why Micheal Seviour, the Neil’s Dad, have to be grateful for his son’s capacity. He understood what to do and how to perform CPR listening a BBC video. And it works!

Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) can save people suffering cardiac or breathing emergency. However, even after training,  administering CPR correctly can be a challenge. In order to help britons in need, BBC have created a simple step-by-step video that a lot of english see on television or youtube.

Giving CPR, calling 999, open the airway, checking for breathing, pushing hard and fast was the main topic explained in the video. And Neil do that he seen on the right way. He saved his dad’s life.

Neil Seviour managed to save his father’s life after performing CPR he had seen demonstrated on BBC News. Although Michael has a fractured rib, he says he is fine and very thankful.
