Fixing bones with a power drill? Less expensive and ingenious
Fixing bones with a power drill? It sounds terrifying, but thanks to an ingenious cover these household drills are now healing hospital patients in Uganda – at a tiny fraction of the cost
BBC – Being operated on with an ordinary power drill might not sound too appealing. But an ingenious cover makes hardware store drills safe for surgery – at a tiny fraction of the cost of specialist surgical drills.
